1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the iOS app "NamazMode" (also referred to as "NamazModu" in Turkish), provided by Abdussamed Aslan, Königsberger Str. 121, 89231 Neu-Ulm, Germany.

2. Description of service

NamazMode calculates prayer times locally on your device and lets you temporarily block apps you select yourself during those times, until you confirm via a button that you've prayed. The app also provides a Qibla direction indicator and streak tracking of your prayer confirmations.

NamazMode is a self-discipline tool and does not provide religious guidance. The "I prayed" confirmation relies on the user's own self-report; the app does not verify that prayer actually took place.

3. Free version and Premium subscription

NamazMode is available in a free basic version. An optional Premium subscription is available for currently €1.49 per month, unlocking additional features (e.g. extended lock-time presets and additional content). The current price is always displayed in the App Store before purchase.

Purchase, auto-renewal, and cancellation of the subscription are handled entirely through your Apple ID account (App Store / StoreKit). We have no control over payment processing and no access to your payment data. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings; it will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

4. Right of withdrawal

For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the statutory right of withdrawal ends early once you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This consent is obtained as part of the purchase flow in the Apple App Store.

5. Emergency access

The app offers a time-limited emergency access to blocked apps (up to 3 times per calendar month, 10 minutes each). This allowance is deliberately kept scarce to avoid undermining the app's core purpose, and is shown transparently within the app.

6. Liability

NamazMode calculates prayer times to the best of our knowledge using established astronomical calculation methods. We make no guarantee that these exactly match local mosque times or calendars, and we are not liable for missed prayers resulting from technical failures, missing location permissions, device malfunctions, or operating system restrictions. This does not affect liability for intent, gross negligence, or damages arising from injury to life, body, or health.

7. Age rating

The age rating shown in the App Store applies. Use by minors requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms if necessary, for example if the app's functionality changes. Updates will be published on this page.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your habitual residence remain unaffected.
