Can you see which apps I block?
No. Selection happens through Apple's FamilyActivityPicker, which manages the app selection as opaque tokens. Neither we nor anyone else can see which specific apps you chose.
Does NamazMode work without an internet connection?
Yes. Prayer times are calculated entirely on your device. An internet connection is only needed for the initial app download and, if applicable, purchasing the Premium subscription.
What happens if I miss a prayer?
There's no "make-up" logic or punishment. The app automatically unlocks your apps at the latest when the next prayer window begins.
How does emergency access work?
You can access blocked apps up to 3 times per month for 10 minutes each, e.g. for an urgent call through a blocked app. The counter is shown transparently in the app and resets every month.
Why does the app need location access?
Solely to calculate prayer times locally for your location. This data never leaves your device — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I choose the app language independently of my iPhone's system language?
Yes, you can choose between German, English, and Turkish in the app's settings, regardless of your iPhone's system language.
How much does NamazMode cost?
The basic version is free. An optional Premium subscription for €1.49/month unlocks additional features.
Is NamazMode available on Android?
Currently NamazMode is iOS-only, since the underlying Family Controls / Screen Time APIs are Apple-specific. An Android version may be considered for a later phase.
